Welcome to our family! After 42 hours of labor our new Grandaughter was finally born. She is a little peanut and weighs only 7 lbs and 3 oz and 19 inches long.She is gorgeous! She is soooo loved already. We now have three beautiful Grandchildren!!!

11 days off of work?

Before my time off of work I thought it was going to be so relaxing and fun! Well it was fun but as for relaxing? no! During this time off our first Grandson was born, I painted a room, shopped for Thanksgiving dinner, celebrated Kennedy's 5th birthday, had family come in from California that same night, cooked Thanksgiving Dinner before noon, went to a movie after dinner, put up my Christmas tree & decorations, went shopping , out to dinner, and lots of cleaning and laundry and running errands in between all of this.... phewww Im tired and now it is time to go back to work! I need a vacation to recover from my time off of work.... and just think I get to do this all over again in a couple of weeks when our next grand baby is born near Christmas. Oh well it is all worth it.

Jagger arrived yesterday at 5:33 pm weighing in at 8 lbs 13 oz and 20 inches long. I knew he would be a big baby but not that big. Chelsie sure carries her babies in her back because she was not that big. If you saw her you would know what I am talking about. His delivery took all of 4 1/2 hours! WOW! He looks like Chelsie,Ryan and Kennedy too. He is adorable! Im sure we are going to have so much fun with him.

Caleigh waited at the mall to meet Ryan Sheckler for 4 hours. She met him and got his autograph and as she was walking to work two of his security guards approached her and said that Ryan wanted to formally introduce himself. She went back to where he was and they chatted for a little bit and he asked for her number so he could text her!!! ahhhh that is so cool! Go Caleigh!!!!! I cant wait to hear what happens!!!!

This is my favorite picture of all time. We had our family out visiting from New York and I swear we went to Walmart about 10 times while they were out here. Everytime we took a trip to Wally World it was an adventure. My girls and my niece are so beautiful in real life and that is why this picture cracks me up so bad. This Summer has flown by and I have not blogged for a while. There are several reasons of why I have not been able to blog. The first one being that our computer died and I lost my digital camera.... I have now purchased a new computer and guess what? I found my camera !!! I am sad that I was not able to take pictures of our fun Summer. Since my last blog I had a birthday and then there was Fathers day , our annual 4th of July parade, John and I had our 22nd Anniversary , our family came out to visit us on July 22nd -August 3rd. We had a blast! Cydney turned 18 on August 5th. WHOO HOO! Connor starts High School on August 26th. Well now everyone is pretty much caught up on what is going on in at our house. I will be posting again soon and will have pictures next time .

On Thursday December 18th we had to put our beloved Baron to sleep. He was almost 11 years old and he couldnt walk up the stairs anymore. He was the best dog that we have ever owned. He was one in a million. Words cannot express how much he meant to us. We will miss him terribly!

~ Surprise Vacation~

Aunt Lorie and cousin Laennah surprised us and showed up at our Hotel. John finally let us know that we are all going on Cruise to the Mexican Riviera! Kennedy decided to be a witch this year for Halloween which really surprised us because she was terrified of the witches at Gardner Village. She was dressed to go to her dance class party in her Halloween outfit. She is showing her scary look.

I just loved the tights. They matched her outfit perfectly! We dyed her hair black with a spray. It was the messiest stuff ever! She made a cute witch!

Labor Day Weekend!

Our 4th of July always starts off with seeing John ride in the West Jordan Parade. The weather was overcast so it wasnt too hot. The temperature was supposed to hit 100. John is the motor officer in the middle. West Jordan has 5 motor officers but John is the best looking one of all. Go J-LO! He will love that I just said that. ha ha

Kennedy just loves to see her Grandpa on the motorcycle. She refers to him as "My Grandpa" and I guess she does have him all to herself for now anyways.....

~Kennedy's Dance Performance~

Kennedy had a dance performance at Lagoon on May 3rd. We camped out at the campgrounds at Lagoon. The Gregg's came to Lagoon because Kaylee and Marissa also had dance performance's also. They also stayed at the campground. We spent Saturday watching the dance performance's and riding the rides at Lagoon. We had a great time. Kennedy is showing us her "Party like a rock Star" hand...

On April 19th, Chelsie, Kennedy and I drove down to Las Vegas for a Girls weekend. We met Rhea and Lorie and Laennah. We stayed at the Monte Carlo Hotel. We went to the Cirque de Solei show. On Sunday we walked around on the Strip. We had a blast!

We spent Easter in Lake Havasu so we had everyone dye Easter eggs . Some of the guys even joined in and made some eggs.

Worcs had an Easter egg hunt for the little kids. John (grandpa) took Kennedy and Jake went with Zach.....

Kennedy was a little afraid of the Easter Bunny. She is so smart she asked why the Easter Bunny had a Zipper on his back....We laughed so hard when she asked that.

This is Stella, she is a Boston Terrier and she is about 3 1/2 months old and her Mom is Rhea and she brings her with where ever she goes. Stella is so cute and everyone loves her!

We were at Lake Havasu last weekend for an ATV race and just as we were finished packing up all the ATV's we closed the garage ramp and there was a rattlesnake under the ramp. We figured that the snake must have been under the trailer in the shade and slithered over to the small space under the ramp. Some of or friends walked right by it when John saw it and warned our friends son Zachary who was about 1 ft away from it.

We hate snakes and it was so scary!This picture does not really show how big it was. It was at least 3 ft long. John said that it was really fat. This picture was taken from about 10 ft away. I will never sleep in a tent ever! I am so glad that we had our fifth wheel to stay in....

I am still creeped out and am paranoid that a snake is in the trailer.

Ryan, Chelsie, Caleigh and Kennedy went to Disneyland last weekend and they had a blast. The weather was so nice. In fact they said that they were hot. The temperature was around 80 degrees. Kennedy was in heaven at Disneyland. Her favorite princess is Cinderella and she couldnt wait to see her. She wanted to see her as soon as they arrived at Disneyland. They took so many pictures but I only posted my favorites.... enjoy!!!

Earthquake~

So the today we had an earthquake. I was at work when it happened. My co-worker and I started to feel the building shaking. I asked her if she felt it and she said yes. Another coworker over on the next isle said she felt it and could see that the blinds on the row of windows were swaying back and forth. It was a really wierd feeling to feel the building swaying like that. John was in his car taking Cydney to school and his car was shaking and he thought that something was wrong with his car. I have only been through one other earthquake that I can remember. It was a reality check that we do live in an earthquake zone area. Even though the quake was 150 miles away over the Nevada border we still felt it. Check out the story on the web page below....

Ok here is the Bad news.... Chelsie didnt get signed up for classes because of some financial aide problem. Caleigh didnt sign up for her classes. I guess she was too busy? And Cydney did not make grades for her to continue to be on the Varsity Cheerleading team at her High School.

Here is the Good News... Everyone is happy and healthy. Chelsie and Caleigh can sign up next Semester for school. Cydney has more time to focus on her grades. Her grades are more important than Cheer anyway. Cydney will also be able to work more!! yeah... life is good.

TOO MUCH SNOW!!!

Yesterday was my day off of work so it couldnt have been a better day to be at home and watch the snow come down. We shoveled 3 times! and still were having a hard time getting the cars out of the Circle. John had a great time just trying to get the police car off our street. Some strangers were actually walking around helping people dig out around the neighborhood. I was so impressed that people were so nice to help out. Our neighbors saved everyone by using the snow blowers to plow the street. Uh yeah we are the last to be plowed in the County due to living in a Circle. The plows just showed up today. I love living in a Circle but sometimes it has its drawbacks. I think that I finally have John convinced that we need a Snow Blower after all we do live in Utah and have the greatest snow on earth. Hello Everyone,
Ok so I am new to this blogging thing so please forgive me. I have changed the blogger name and started over . I have changed the look and Chelsie helped me add some pictures. It looks better than the original. I am working on loading some music.. I know i am a dork but I think that everyone will enjoy the new blog.... Stay tuned!

The Lorence Family

Hello Everyone!I thought this would be a fun idea to start a family blog that everyone can use to catch up on what is going on in the Lorence household. So to start out the New Year here is the latest scoop.....

John is planning racing again this year. We have several trips planned starting with Phoenix and then Mesquite and then my favorite Lake Havasu.... Just to mention a few of the places that we will be going to. Please let us know if anyone wants to go because we would love some company! The more the merrier!

Chelsie and Ryan are still not engaged!!!He has had the ring since August... What is the deal Ryan? you know we like you! Ask already!!!!Chelsie is planning on going to school.. I am not sure if she signed up or not??? Chels what is the deal ?

Caleigh is working as the Assistant Manager at Journey's Kids. She is working alot of hours and the rest of the time she plays with her friends. That is what she calls it when she goes out. She plans on going to school once she gets organized with signing up for school.

Cydney is working hard on her grades and plans on going to California for National Competition for Cheerleading in March. Go Jordan!!! She is currently working at Sweet and Sassy in Draper. She works part time . Very part time!!

Connor is also working hard on his grades at Eastmont. He is spending most of his time on his new X-box trying to outscore his Dad.Connor has a new YFZ 450 that his Dad bought but will not be able to race it until he is 15 years old.. Bummer Connor! but think about how much practice you will have when you finally get to race.....

Kennedy is growing like a weed ! I cant believe she is 3 already... She acts so much older than 3. The things she says are unbelievable. You would think she was a teenager... So smart!!! Watch out Chelsie ! you are in trouble with this one.... Kennedy just started Preschool . She attends 2 afternoons a week. She also has started taking a Dance/ Cheer class on Monday morning . She loves it!!

As for me I am busy working full time and taking care of Kennedy on my day off and scheduling any appointments that I need to make for the family. I take Kennedy to her first Dance/ Cheer class and enjoy watching her have fun. I did get a new wedding ring for Christmas ... I love it! Thanks John! Thats all for now ...
